The obstacle is the way
“The obstacle is the way."

100 miles. Through rain, wind, sand, rock, and everything else the desert had to offer, I persevered and accomplished what I set in motion six years earlier, the moment I first read Born to Run.
The journey was not linear, but it never is. I set a goal and committed myself fully to it, showing up day after day and working through whatever stood in the way. The challenges were not roadblocks. They were opportunities to learn, adapt, and grow stronger. Somewhere along the way, I had forgotten what it felt like to be truly devoted to a mission. To choose a goal, show up consistently, put in the work, and refuse to quit.
None of it was easy. But the difficult moments shaped me. They reminded me that the toughest times reveal the most about who we are and what we are capable of. Success is not a destination. It is the process. Every step, every obstacle, and every setback is a chance to become stronger and more refined.
What I learned is simple. There is no real limit to our potential. We just have to embrace the process, stay focused on the goal, and have the courage to continue when the road feels long and uncertain. On the other side of that commitment is a stronger, clearer, and more capable version of yourself.
Thank you to the #antelopecanyonultras for closing this chapter for me and congratulations to all the others who were able make it through the storm.
Onward and upwards!
